Snuggle Up with These Great Audiobooks Sorted by Grade Level

I'm always looking for great reads, both for myself as well as for my two children. Both of my children have dyslexia, so I try to vary their books to both ear read and eye read. Here are some books, broken down by age level, for young children all the way through adults.   ********************************  

Early Elementary (K-2)

Magic Tree House This beloved series has many titles from which to choose, and most are in our Learning Ally audiobook library. In The Knight at Dawn, Jack and Annie, a brother and sister pair, find a castle with a secret passage when the Magic Tree House  whisks them back to the Middle Ages for another wild adventure. In the Great Hall of the castle, a feast is under way. But Jack and Annie aren't exactly welcome guests! Junie B. Jones This is another beloved series with many titles, so if your child likes one, we have plenty of others to keep him or her entertained! In Junie B. Jones is Captain Filed Day, the kindergarten is having a field day and Junie is team captain! Only, here's the problem. Room Eight keeps on winning too many events. And so how will Room Nine ever become the kindergarten champions? As Captain Field Day, will Junie B. find a way to lead her team to victory? Or will it be up to someone else to save the day? Stink This is another series with many books to choose from. In The Great Guinea Pig Express, Stink and his friends are off on a hairy new mission--finding homes for 101 rescued guinea pigs aboard the Squeals on Wheels Express. Here's Hank Hank stars the same Hank as in the bestselling Hank Zipzer series, only this time he's in 2nd grade! Hank is a kid who doesn't try to be funny, but he somehow always makes the kids in his class laugh. Dinosaur Cove A great series for dino-loving adventurers! Tom and Jamie can't believe their luck when they find a secret entrance to a prehistoric world filled with dinosaurs!   ********************************  

Late Elementary (3-5)

Diary of a Wimpy Kid In this beloved series, our middle-school aged author keeps a diary of his life events. It's very popular among the late elementary to middle school aged crowd. Tales of a Forth Grade Nothing Life with his little brother, Fudge, makes Peter Hatcher feel like a fourth grade nothing. Whether Fudge is throwing a temper tantrum in a shoe store, smearing mashed potatoes on the walls at Hamburger Heaven, or trying to fly, he’s never far from trouble. He’s an almost three-year-old terror who gets away with everything, and Peter’s had it up to here! Boxcar Children The Aldens begin their adventure by making a home in a boxcar. Their goal is to stay together, and in the process they find a grandfather. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone After 10 miserable years with his aunt and uncle, Harry Potter is invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.   ********************************  

Middle School (6-8)

Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban Harry Potter continues in his journey through school, learning more about his own history along the way. Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters In this second book of the series, Percy Jackson goes on another adventure with his friends from Camp Half-Blood.   Goosebumps They're baa-ack!
