Summer reading challenges often start strong, but it can sometimes be difficult to keep the momentum going during the dog days of summer. That’s why we created the #SRT17 social media challenge!
During the month of July, students (with parent’s permission) can let us know how access to audiobooks have made their world a better place. All you have to do is post to Twitter or Instagram using #SRT17 and tagging Learning Ally. That’s it! FIVE people will win – one overall grand prize and 4 additional prizes. The grand prize will be a pair of BEATS headphones, and four additional winners get a signed copy of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps! t’s EASY to enter!
Here’s how it works:
- Post to Twitter or Instagram telling us how access to audiobooks changes YOUR world.
- Tag @Learning_Ally on Instagram or Twitter
- Use the hashtag #SRT17 – make sure your post is set to public so we can see it!
That’s it! You may enter as many unique photos as you like!
Want to know how the prizes break down?
Grand Prize: BEATS headphones – winner drawn randomly from ALL entrants.
Four additional entrants will win an autographed copy of R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps based on the following categories:
1. Post of you reading in a creative spot (always be safe!)
2. Post showing how YOU are building a better world
3. Audiobook selfie
4. Post highlighting a Learning Ally SRT Featured Book
Categories 1-4 will be picked by a random drawing of photos meeting those criteria. Only people who tag @Learning_Ally, use #SRT17, and have their post set to public will be eligible to WIN. Photos will be displayed on Instagram, Twitter, and on LearningAlly.org. We will not sell your image to third parties. We reserve the right to use your photos in future Learning Ally promotional materials. Contest begins on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at 7am EDT and ends on Monday, July 31st, 2017 at midnight EDT. Winners will be announced the following week on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and via email.
